Loyal and unshakeable
My great grandmother was from Saint Helena. That tiny island has a motto:
“Loyal and unshakeable”.
It’s awfully nostalgic of me, but I want to live up to that heady adage.
To eyeball fearsome feats and not waver.
To push past…wade through…overcome self-doubt and insecurity.
To break out when I find myself retreating to small and safe thinking.
To breathe deep, fill my lungs, fortify my heart, when overwhelm tries to suffocate.
To accept failure as earned experience.
To try one more time. (Repeat.)
To be grateful at all times.
To do what is right when no-one else will.
To be very very brave.
What will the banner over your life to say?
Sorry for the late reply Kirstie! Thank you, as always for your support
“One Thousand Lights -” honestly enables myself ponder a
somewhat extra. I appreciated every particular part of it.
